While the provider's main role is a laser specialist, there is opportunity for growth and leadership in this role, as well as learning new skills such as sclerotherapy injections.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for aesthetics and laser services to join our team as a Laser Specialist. In addition to providing clinical care, this role offers a unique opportunity to receive training in spider vein sclerotherapy injections and to play a leadership role in developing, growing, and managing new service lines within the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Perform safely aesthetic laser treatments, including but not limited to hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, IPL and vascular treatments. Additional procedures include skinpen microneedling and possiby sclerotherapy. Currently, we use a Rohrer Spectrum 8 laser.
- Conduct patient consultations, assess candidacy for procedures, and create individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on procedures, aftercare, and realistic expectations.
- Ensure safe and effective use of advanced laser technologies.
- Maintain accurate medical records, informed consents, and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with the medical director and clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Receive training and perform spider vein sclerotherapy injections.
- Contribute to practice growth by introducing new service lines, managing clinical programs, and driving patient engagement.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in CA.
- Prior experience in aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating medical-grade laser equipment.
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
- Business-minded with an interest in developing and running new aesthetic services.
- Commitment to patient safety, satisfaction, and excellence in care.
- Professional, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
