Position Overview:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, from ensuring top-notch guest experiences to managing financial performance. This role requires a leader who is confident in their decision-making, possesses a high level of professionalism, and has the maturity to lead and inspire a team. You will have the autonomy to make key decisions while ensuring they align with the company’s values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service and food.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reviews, to optimize performance and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food quality standards.
- Implement and maintain systems to manage inventory, costs, and labor efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve guest satisfaction, attract new business, and increase profitability.
- Collaborate with ownership to establish and meet both short-term and long-term goals for the restaurant.
- Lead by example, setting high standards for professionalism, work ethic, and team engagement.
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in leading a team and achieving financial targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence a diverse team.
- Ability to balance hands-on management with strategic planning and decision-making.
- Expertise in managing financial performance, including budgeting, cost controls, and revenue growth.
- Experience with restaurant management software and systems (POS, scheduling, inventory management).
- A high level of maturity and professionalism, with a focus on long-term success.
