Housekeeper

Private Golf Club has an opening for a Full-Time (38 hours) Housekeeper in an upscale, non-tipping country club setting.

Job Description

• Serves as a representative of the Club, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other staff, management, members and guests.
• Compliance with all Club Safety Regulations and participation in ongoing Safety Seminars.
• Stocks room attendant’s cart.
• Stocks hand caddy.
• Wipes all windowsills, walls, and light switches.
• Dusts and cleans all furniture and fixtures.
• Checks drapes for missing hooks.
• Cleans all mirrors and inside windows.
• Cleans bathrooms.
• Cleans and sanitizes toilets.
• Washes tiles, tub, showers, walls, and fixtures.
• Wipes shower curtains.
• Cleans walls and floors.
• Restocks towels, soap, lotions, and other supplies and amenities.
• Stocks storage rooms.
• Vacuums carpets and mops floors.
• Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
• Empties all wastebaskets and ashtrays.
• Disinfects telephones.
• Cleans and polishes brass.
• Reports any damage or plumbing problems to the Facilities Director or Lead Housekeeper.
• Serves as backup to laundry.
  
  

Previous experience preferred. Must be able to work mornings, weekends, and some holidays. Starting pay is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
