Experienced Insurance Agent – Commercial & Special Lines
Pay: $20–$25/hour Commission
LA Insurance Agency is looking for an experienced insurance professional to join our growing Commercial & Special Lines Department.
We are looking for someone with a strong insurance background who is interested in expanding their experience and earning potential in commercial and specialty insurance.
Experience with Commercial Auto, General Liability, Surety Bonds, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Property, or other specialty insurance products is highly preferred.
Have insurance experience but don’t currently have a Texas P&C license? We still want to hear from you. For qualified candidates, we can sponsor and assist with obtaining a Texas P&C license.
You do not need to know every Special Lines product. Training on our carriers, products, quoting systems, and procedures will be provided.
What You’ll Do
- Quote, sell, and service Commercial Auto and Special Lines policies
- Work with General Liability, Surety Bonds, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Property, and other commercial products
- Work with multiple insurance carriers to find appropriate coverage options
- Follow up with new leads, existing customers, and renewals
- Identify cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Manage multiple quotes and customer accounts
- Provide professional service by phone, email, and in person
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of insurance industry experience preferred
- Commercial or Special Lines experience strongly preferred
- Texas P&C license preferred, but not required for experienced candidates
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Comfortable with computers and insurance quoting systems
- Organized and able to manage multiple customers and opportunities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Professional communication skills
