Job Description

La Herradura Western Wear is looking for a driven, energetic, and customer-focused Bilingual Cashier (English/Spanish) to join our Columbia, South Carolina Team.

We are a fast-growing Western retail brand offering everything from everyday workwear and boots to premium luxury western apparel. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, assisting customers at checkout, and supporting daily store operations. You will also help answer customer questions, recommend products when needed, and ensure each customer leaves with a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service in both English and Spanish
• Accurately process purchases, returns, exchanges, and payments using the POS system
• Handle cash, card transactions, receipts, and register duties responsibly
• Assist customers with product questions, pricing, sizing, and general store information
• Support sales by recommending merchandise and helping customers complete their purchases
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Help maintain the sales floor by restocking, organizing merchandise, and keeping displays neat
• Support store operations, including inventory handling and merchandise recovery
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift merchandise as needed

Pay & Schedule

• $14-$16 per hour, paid weekly
• Full-time positions available
• Schedule set by store management

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
