Job Description
The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls on the main phone console and responding to inquiries and/or forwarding the calls to the appropriate party in a polite and professional manner, ensuring that patient confidentiality is fully maintained. The Receptionist is expected to greet and make welcome all incoming visitors, admitting patients, family members and staff in a friendly professional manner. The Receptionist is also responsible for monitoring and forwarding of all patient voicemail throughout each shift, setting daily patient wake-up calls, and distributing patient mail. Additional duties also include selling phone cards, stamps and meal tickets as well as maintaining and balancing a cash drawer. All packages delivered to the facility are received and logged by the Receptionist and he/she is responsible for notifying appropriate parties of package arrivals. Duties also include but are not limited to completion of required forms and reports, basic clerical duties, accessing computer data and additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior large volume switchboard or call center experience is preferred.
- Prior general clerical experience is preferred.
- Excellent telephone answering skills and good communication skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task is required.
- A pleasant, friendly professional demeanor is required.
- Good organizational skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- 12 hour shifts
- 7:00am-7:00pm

Salary : $27,600 - $35,000
