Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, take phone orders, pack orders and handle cash transactions with accuracy. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service will be key to enhancing our guests' experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process.
- Handle reservations and maintain an organized waitlist.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure timely service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in managing phone calls, providing information, and taking reservations as needed.
- Take phone orders/pack orders
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
