Job description

Night Audit serves as the primary liaison to guests during the night shift and are responsible for performing close of day scenarios for the hotel. Must be able to work independently and with little supervision. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned.

Duties include:

  • Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and that the correct rate is charged and issues guest keys
  • Check out guests at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts any late charges and presents bill to guests. Accurately settles bill
  • Handle incoming guest phone reservations
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; gives entertainment suggestions and travel directions
  • Handle all guest complaints or problems to exceed the guest expectations
  • Handle all guest service requests, makes change
  • Serve as hotel phone operator and directs all calls to proper extensions
  • Conduct security walks
  • Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance
  • Keep records of room availability and guest’s accounts. Operates front desk software
  • Maintain a balanced cash/billing drawer
  • Welcome guests and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner
  • Know how to use office equipment
  • Maintain awareness of all rates and incoming rate codes
  • Setting wake up calls
  • Stock linens and supplies at front desk for the following day
  • Generate automated audit reports for manager’s review
  • Communicate with the previous and following shifts
  • Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory meetings
  • Flexible with schedule and assignments
  • Maintain effective performance under pressure
  • May perform similar duties as requested by supervisor
  • Maintain front office clean by performing sanitizing, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, sweeping, cleaning windows and vacuuming.

Additional Night Audit Duties of La Fuente Inn:

  • Prepare, set up, stock, clean and provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

Job Description

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly and a natural talent for customer service. You will be responsible for creating a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • -Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • -Manage online and phone reservations
  • -Answer incoming calls and manage multiple phone lines
  • -Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • -Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • -Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • -Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • -Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • -Work with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • -Must be computer literate
  • -Communicate all shift information to other desk staff
  • -Provides directions and recommendations to guest.
  • -Properly cashes out at the end of shift, ensuring that all monies balance to the cashier transaction reports.
  • -Ability to work in a faced paced environment and still maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • -Must show up to work on time and work their schedule
  • -Must be flexible with schedule
  • -Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • -Must be able to work 3-11pm.
  • -Must be able to train during the day.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
