Duties

• Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable fragrances and beauty products to elevate their personal style
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and provide detailed information about perfume notes, application techniques, and brand stories
• Utilize retail software such as Millennium and salon management tools to process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments efficiently
• Upsell complementary products like skincare, makeup, or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure an attractive and accessible display environment
• Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
• Use social media management skills to promote new arrivals, special promotions, and store events to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Analyze sales data to understand trends, improve product placement, and enhance overall sales performance
• Provide personalized client services including makeup application demonstrations or beauty consultations to build loyalty
• Ensure the front desk area is welcoming, organized, and reflects the brand’s aesthetic standards

Skills

• Proficiency with retail POS systems such as Millennium; experience with salon software is a plus
• Strong multilingual abilities; bilingual skills in English plus another language are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele
• Knowledge of cosmetology, beauty & cosmetics sales, and skincare products to confidently educate customers
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales volume while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Organizational skills for stock management, merchandising, and maintaining a clean store environment
• Effective communication skills to engage with customers confidently in person or via social media platforms
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Experience with makeup application techniques for providing demos or consultations
• Familiarity with sales data analysis for tracking performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities
