Duties
- Greet prospective members and visitors with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Conduct product demos to showcase membership benefits and amenities
- Assist customers with membership sign-ups, renewals, and inquiries
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell memberships and related products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the cleanliness of display areas
- Stock merchandise and promotional materials as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Apply effective phone etiquette when communicating with members and prospects
- Support the team in achieving sales goals through proactive engagement and upselling strategies
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, grocery store, or customer service roles is preferred
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous
- Experience conducting product demos or upselling products/services enhances candidate suitability
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for success in this role
