Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and check them in/out efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Manage reservations and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Promote hotel services and upsell additional offerings to enhance guest experience.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred, ideally within a hospitality or grocery store setting.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse clientele.
- Strong phone etiquette to ensure clear communication with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
