Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter (Kids Klub)/Front Desk professional to join our team. This role involves supervising children in a safe and engaging environment while providing excellent customer service at the front desk. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be attentive to safety and well-being.
These employees are the face of the club! They are who members and guests see first, so it’s their job to set the tone for the rest of the members’ club experience by being friendly and welcoming. This is a part time position with the opportunity to earn commissions on top of the hourly pay.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities within the Kids Klub area
- Assist with check-in procedures at the front desk
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and needs
- Follow all safety protocols related to childcare and facility operations
- Greet visitors and clients promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems for records and documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence by phone
- Promote and sell our new Reformer Pilates program by introducing members to its benefits, creating interest, and helping them get started with classes that support their goals.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
Experience
- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, daycare, or nannying is highly preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific care techniques
- Certifications such as first aid or caregiving training
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children of different ages, including infants and toddlers
- Previous office management or administrative experience preferred, especially in medical or dental reception roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing environment for children while delivering exceptional service at the front desk. The successful candidate will be dedicated to creating a positive experience for families and supporting children's growth and development.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 35.0 per week
