Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for an Assistant Personal Training Director. The role involves overseeing personal and group training services, mentoring and motivating trainers, and maintaining high customer service standards. The Assistant Personal Training Director will collaborate with staff to create exceptional workout experiences and ensure the smooth operation of training programs within the fitness center. This role also includes assisting in hiring and developing the personal training team.
Qualifications
- Experience in Group Training, Personal Training, and general fitness training programs
- Knowledge of or certification from the U.S. National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or equivalent certifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with members
- Leadership, team collaboration, and staff management capabilities
- Experience in health club operations or fitness center management is a plus
