What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at LA Fitness?
Overview
LA Fitness experienced unprecedented sales and growth exiting the pandemic and is hiring managers in flagship locations around the greater Philadelphia region to lead and develop the sales team, personal trainers, and future managers before our annual New Year's rush. Full training will be provided on a daily basis by your direct manager(s).
Daily Responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and revenue growth through a Results and Service oriented Health Club experience
- Marketing: Business-to-Business, company generated leads, existing member referrals, etc
- Point-of-Sale proficiency to improve member penetration into our many programs and amenities, including but not limited to Personal Training, Pilates etc
- Personal Training Client retention and servicing
- RTDI: Recruitment, Training, Development, and Inspection of Club Staff
Requirements for the position:
- Previous management and/or Fitness Sales experience
- Full-Time hours. Weekend shifts may be required, 40hrs during work weeks guaranteed
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, development-focused sales environment
- Reliable transportation
Successful Assistant Managers at LAF can expect a promotion to full Club Manager within 90 days.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
