Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview
Our janitorial staff is the backbone of the "Club Pride" everyone shares for the facility where they work. Experience in cleaning and making repairs is preferred, but we are willing to train people who are passionate about keeping our facilities beautifully maintained! There are both full and part time positions available and room for advancement depending on your skills and ambition. All Club Pride staff members are given a complimentary club membership.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas including restrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
• Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that require attention.
• Utilize proper cleaning techniques and equipment to uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the club.

Requirements

• Must be 18 to apply
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of residential painting and porter duties is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $17.13 - $19.13 per hour
