What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard (Part-Time) position at LA Fitness (Fitness International)?
LA Fitness is looking for a reliable Certified Lifeguard to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our members and guests.
Schedule:
- Part-time (minimum two days per week)
- Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

What You'll Do:
- Monitor the pool and surrounding deck to ensure the safety of all swimmers
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Perform routine pool chemical testing and accurately complete required testing logs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment
What We're Looking For:
- Up-to-date Lifeguarding Certification (required)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)
- Alert, dependable, and safety-minded
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Reliable and punctual attendance
