Experienced Bilingual Barista – La Finca Coffee Shop
La Finca Coffee Shop is looking for an experienced bilingual barista (English/Spanish) to join our team.
Please note: This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience working with commercial espresso equipment and specialty coffee.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Previous barista experience required.
- Experience operating commercial espresso machines.
- Knowledge of espresso extraction and grinder calibration.
- Ability to steam and texture milk properly for a variety of espresso beverages.
- Ability to create consistent latte art.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Available to work weekends.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Calibrate the grinder and monitor espresso extraction throughout the day.
- Steam and texture milk correctly for lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks.
- Create latte art consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks.
