What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at LA Financial?
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for invoice processing, journal entries and reconciliations, and process improvements. You will have the chance to play a hands-on and integral part on the AP team, and serve as a key contributor to a high growth environment.
Pay rate: $22-24/hr.
Hybrid: 2-3 days in office, 2-3 days remote, alternates each week

- You have 2 years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience utilizing a large ERP system
- You are an experienced AP professional with 3-way match experience

- Assist with month-end close by performing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Process high volume invoices ensuring proper GL coding and approval.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate discrepancies
- Process Return to Vendor and Vendor Chargeback debit memos
- Reconcile vendor and factor statements timely
- Work with AP leadership team to resolve transactions, monitor and resolve aged invoices and support the team in various day to day activities and tasks
- Identify process opportunities for process improvements and draft simple desktop procedures
