We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Office Assistant to support our administrative team during the 2026 tax season. This is a full-time seasonal position from January through mid-April, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The role involves assisting clients with documentation, translations, and clerical support in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist incoming clients with letters, translations, form completion, and document questions
- Confirm appointments and update schedules
- Scan, upload, and organize client documents
- Perform clerical tasks: filing, copying, emailing, faxing, and data entry
- Prepare and organize client folders and paperwork
- Draft letters and communications in English and Spanish
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create and update spreadsheets, reports, and letters
- Process payments and receipts in QuickBooks (experience preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Must live within 10 miles of Plainfield, NJ
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong grammar and writing skills in both languages
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- QuickBooks experience is a plus
