Responsibilities
- Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design.
- Provide support to the project team during construction and installation.
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Perform field work as required to support design, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Interface directly with client team and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering. Civil, Mechanical or Electrical are preferred.
- Ideal candidates will possess 3-5 years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications.
- Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, and IEEE.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
