Duties

• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic kitchen duties and food handling, to support kitchen staff as needed.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting and organized.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support cashiering duties, handle cash register operations, and reconcile cash at the end of shifts with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or retail environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a lively atmosphere.
