Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivering packages in your own cargo van/sprinter van.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle sprinter van/cargo van and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Conduct regular inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Going to the warehouse at 5:30 AM getting assigned route for the day organizing and number packages correctly before drop off.
- Each package will need to be scanned on the app before exiting warehouse.
- Cargo Insurance will be provided during all scheduled routes Only. Car insurance Will need to be covered by each driver proof before getting hired.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in loading and unloading operations.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices is beneficial.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and hand lifting into truck is advantageous.
