We are seeking a reliable and experienced 1099 Independent Contractor Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate company-provided box trucks, sprinter vans, or cargo vans to complete scheduled delivery routes. This is a contractor position and does not include health or dental benefits. ResponsibilitiesSafely operate box trucks, sprinter vans, and other commercial vehicles (including manual transmission when required).Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.Deliver goods to residential and commercial locations while providing prompt, professional, and friendly customer service.Verify all delivery orders against shipment documents for accuracy before departure and upon delivery.Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS or route sheets, adjusting for traffic or road conditions as needed.Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, staging freight, and preparing shipments.Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine safety and pre-trip inspections.Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or issues.Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure a safe work environment.Perform heavy lifting when required, using proper lifting techniques and maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday.
