La Europa Academy is seeking a reliable, hardworking chef assistant to join our kitchen team! This is a full-time position offering consistent hours in a supportive environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping provide nutritious meals for our students.
Position: Chef Assistant
Pay: $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time

What You’ll Do
· Support our Chef in daily meal preparation
· Assist with food prep, cooking, and plating
· Follow established recipes, dietary guidelines, and allergy protocols
· Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
· Follow food safety and sanitation standards
· Participate in inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization
· Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
· Experience in a commercial kitchen or similar setting preferred
· Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Reliability, professionalism, and consistency
· Willingness to learn and follow established kitchen procedures
· Food handler’s permit (or willingness to obtain)
