- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls
- Perform light clerical tasks: alphabetizing, sorting, typing, operating a copier, and basic calculator use
- Receive payments, make change, and balance a cash drawer
- Maintain office supply inventory and process related invoices
- Take appropriate action during emergencies (medical, fire, or safety threats)
- Protect resident rights and confidentiality; report suspected abuse
- Support person‑centered care and uphold a respectful, inclusive environment
- Follow all safety practices and report hazards
- Maintain reliable attendance and a cooperative, courteous demeanor in all interactions
- High school diploma, GED, or current high school enrollment
- Preferably 18 years old
- Some clerical training preferred
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to act independently with minimal supervision
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to respond quickly to resident safety concerns
- Professional demeanor and ability to relate well to residents, staff, and the public
- Successful completion of a background check per Wisconsin Caregiver Law
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to monitor entrance activity (near and far vision)
- Regular use of phone, computer, copier, and office materials
- Occasional lifting of files and office supplies
