What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Recreation Coaches position at La Crescent-Hokah Public Schools?
Summer Recreation Coach (Must be at least 15)
We are seeking Summer Recreation Coaches to lead programs for elemetnary and middle school age youth in our community. Summer Recreation Coaches must be at least 15 years old. Over 18 applicants are also encouraged!
Hours of work are subject to number of children registered for a respective program. Typical number of hours per week may vary based on sport from 5-12 hours per week. Coaches are responsible for keeping all participants safe while teaching fundamentals of the respective sport they are coaching.
TENNIS: Sessions typically held Monday-Thursday mornings from 8am-10:30/11:15am at Kistler Park Tennis Courts.
GOLF: Sessions offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Pine Creek Golf Course.
T-BALL: Sessions typically held Monday-Thursday mornings from 8am-10:30/11:15am at La Crescent-Hokah Elementary, Games on Wednesday evenings at Old Hickory Park.
VOLLEYBALL: Sessions typically held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-4pm.
BASKETBALL: Sessioms typically held Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1-4pm, games on Monday evenings at La Crescent-Hokah Elementary.
