Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Warrior – Day Shift

La Crescent Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team in a full-time day shift position.
The RN will provide and oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and help ensure that residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and monitor changes in condition
- Develop, implement, and follow individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide direct nursing care as needed
- Communicate with physicians, providers, residents, and families regarding resident needs and changes in condition
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during the shift
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and clinical concerns
- Ensure nursing care is provided in accordance with facility policies and applicable standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota or eligibility for Minnesota licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage resident care
- Dependable, organized, and committed to quality care
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required
Schedule: Weekend Warrior – Day Shift, 12-hour shifts. Shift differential: $4.00 per hour in addition to base wage.
