  • Resume (Must be current)
  • Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to)
  • Letters of Recommendation (3 letters dated within the last 2 years)
  • Credential copy 
    • Copies of credentials must be current printouts of the credential document details page from the CTC website that shows your name, document name, document status, subjects/authorizations, and expiration date. You can access this part of your credential by clicking on the document number in your CTC online portal. Certificates will not be accepted and will automatically be screened out.

Job Summary

San Dieguito Union High School District is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for Sculpture and Digital Art Design courses within the Arts and CTE Arts, Media, and Entertainment pathway. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can provide engaging, hands-on instruction, support diverse learners, and foster a positive and creative classroom environment. The ideal candidate has strong content knowledge in both traditional and digital art mediums, effective classroom management skills, and the flexibility to adapt to student needs.

 

  

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid California Single Subject Credential in Art
AND
  • Posession of a valid Career Techinical Education (CTE) Credential in Arts, Media, and Entertainment

 

Substitute Teacher Pay Rates

  • Certificated Substitute Pay Rates Effective 12/01/2025

Employment Type

This is a full day, Long-Term Substitute assignment
Estimated Assignment Start Date: Early August 2026 (Can start later)
Estimated Assignment End Date: Mid to end of November (Can end sooner or later)
