Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Busser to support both kitchen and front-of-house operations. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, ensuring smooth table turnover, and helping provide a positive dining experience for guests. This is a temporary position with up to 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash high-capacity amounts of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in designated areas
- Maintain kitchen, dishwashing, and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Responsible for removing all used dishes and tableware from dining areas
- Prepare and reset tables in a professional manner for new guests
- Help expedite the restaurant floor by clearing and setting tables quickly and efficiently
- Support timely seating of guests by ensuring table availability
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff with various tasks as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
