La Conner Pets is a retail store with a new salon and a unique opportunity to work with a loyal clientele who prefer anxiety-free baths, pedicures and haircuts. We have a waiting list ready to support you: Dozens of pet owners are eager to introduce you to their companions in a fun, energetic grooming parlor that celebrates creative care in a boutique setting. We have Mondays and Tuesdays open now for grooming, along with options to add more hours in retail. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience and knowledge of dog and cat retail products, nutrition, wellness or training.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing to meet breed standards and client preferences
- Handle dogs safely and confidently in a one-on-one experience
- Store handles pet owners, appointments and payments while you focus on grooming
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming, preferably with a portfolio of success stories
- Strong knowledge of techniques to ensure positive sessions with repeat visits
- Familiarity with health and hygiene best practices
- Ability to lift dogs or equipment safely and efficiently
- Passion for making friends in a community of special neighbors
