Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Understand timing while ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Be able to write a check neatly and orderly with all pertinent information
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings
- Able to multitask with a smile
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
