What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Teammate position at LA Clippers?
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced retail professionals to support the LA Clippers’ Retail Flagship store and in-arena retail locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, visual merchandising and a passion for live sports, as well as a focus on retail technology/innovation and experience growing a new business. The target start date is Tuesday, September 1st.
Retail Store Teammates will support all aspects of our physical retail locations on-site at Intuit Dome, including fan experience events. These teammates will be responsible for supporting revenue goals and identifying/acting upon areas of opportunities for in-store experience. Retail Store Teammates will demonstrate excellent peer relationship skills and be able to work with many cross-functional partners.

This is a part-time seasonal position for the 2026-27 NBA season based at Intuit Dome located in Inglewood, CA. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile events and NBA games. Work hours will fluctuate based on event schedules and business needs.

What You Will Do
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Support retail operations during all concerts/events.
- Drives sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Provide best-in-class customer service and experience to our fans.
- Respond to fans' questions in a timely manner.
- Directs fans by escorting them to specific locations throughout the store/arena.
- Create and/or update fan profile records.
- Keep fans informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Alert management of potential security issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, innovative retail environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to think strategically, problem solve, and multi-task are a must.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism and integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete work accurately and on time.
- Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and work safely at various heights, including top of stairways, when required.
- Ability to work in confined or enclosed spaces, including elevators, when required.
- Ability to move throughout the venue quickly and safely during events.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and through radio or other communication devices.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Outdoor work may include exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, humidity, and direct sunlight.
- Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels, crowds, and vibration typical of live sporting events and entertainment venues.
- Ability to work in crowded environments with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
