What You’ll Do
- Conduct participant-centered nutrition assessments using VENA
- Identify/document nutrition risks and provide follow-up for high-risk participants
- Assign and tailor WIC food packages
- Provide individualized nutrition education, including breastfeeding support
- Interpret growth and lab trends
- Support participant goal-setting and make referrals to health/social services
- Document all nutrition services in accordance with WIC standards
- Assist with intake, phone support, anthropometrics, and blood work as needed
- Adhere to State WIC and Noble policies; complete required competency training
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Dietitian (CD) – Wisconsin, OR NDTR registered with CDR, preferred
- Ability to pass WIC Nutritionist competency assessment within 1 year
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 1 year with a master’s/doctoral degree
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with participants, colleagues, and community partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and eligibility to operate a company vehicle
