Position Summary

The Dental Phone Triage Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the efficiency of the dental office by handling patient phone calls, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and providers. This individual will schedule appointments, manage patient records, process prior authorizations, and provide excellent customer service—all while maintaining compliance with Noble policies, dental standards of care, and state/federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient phone calls and provide appropriate intervention per guidelines, standards of care, and regulations.
• Accurately document all interactions in patient records.
• Manage tracking systems to ensure compliance with Noble policies, medical/dental guidelines, and health maintenance standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, prior authorizations, and administrative workflows.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and office efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service, including diffusing challenging situations in a professional manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in all communications.
• Resolve patient complaints in accordance with Noble policies.
• Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 3–5 years of dental assisting experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
