Pay: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Client Services
- Provides direct resident services using the trauma-informed model
- Supports residents with navigating local resources
- Monitors and answers the 24-hour Crisis Hotline
- Provides crisis intervention, support, and referral
- Ensures a safe and welcoming shelter environment
- Distributes food, clothing, and personal items
- Transports residents to and from appointments, school and other approved destinations
- Mediates resident conflict
- Provides excellent and friendly service to residents
- Shelter Upkeep
- Reports promptly all safety and maintenance-related concerns
- Completes cleaning duties- sweeping and mopping, preparing rooms for residents
- Assists kitchen personnel as necessary
- Administration
- Attends shelter staff meetings and agency trainings
- Completes all required documentation and paperwork in a timely and thorough manner
- Maintains the highest level of ethical integrity and respect towards clientele and colleagues
- Understands, implements, and promotes La Casa, Inc.’s mission, vision, and goals
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience in a helping profession
- Bilingual English/Spanish a
- 25 and over with clean driving record and CPR certification
- Warm, empathic, and non-judgmental with demonstrated ability to maintain healthy boundaries with residents and employees
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment within scope of authority
- Selected applicant must clear background and drug testing
