Licensed Vocational Nurse (Private Residence) Shift Care
Shifts Available: Monday through Sunday, Morning, Mid Day, and Night Shifts
Flexible Hours: *Hours Flexible*
Work Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time available
Compensation: $29.00 - $31.00 Hourly ($500 Bonus)
About the Role:
A qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse administers one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients on an hourly (shift care) basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Services are furnished in accordance with Agency policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Implement the nursing care plan for each patient.
- Provide nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned.
- Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate.
- Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician and RN reactions to treatments, including drugs and changes in the patients physical or emotional condition.
- Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.
- Prepare clinical and progress notes.
