ROLE OVERVIEW
La Casa de Esperanza is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and mission-driven Marketing & Events Specialist to help build and elevate our brand, grow enrollment across our education programs, and bring our story to life through strategic marketing and impactful events.
This is not a passive execution role. This position plays a critical role in connecting all La Casa programs under one cohesive brand, increasing community awareness, and driving engagement across Early Childhood Education, Charter School, Center for Financial Stability, Weatherization, and La Casa Village I & Il.
You will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer and Social Media Coordinator to develop and execute marketing strategies that expand our reach, strengthen our voice, and amplify our impact.
This role is expected to bring ideas forward, take ownership of projects, and continuously improve how La Casa shows up in the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Building & Storytelling
- Help develop and maintain a consistent, compelling brand identity across all La Casa programs
- Translate program impact into clear, engaging stories that resonate with families, donors, and the community
- Ensure alignment of messaging across all program areas
Marketing & Social Media Growth
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Coordinator to plan, create, and grow content across platforms
- Contribute to campaigns that drive enrollment, engagement, and community awareness Stay current on marketing trends and continuously improve content strategy and performance
Enrollment & Community Awareness
- Support marketing efforts tied directly to student recruitment and enrollment growth e Help design and execute campaigns that drive attendance at open houses, tours, and community events
- Clearly communicate the full pipeline: Early Childhood Charter School Beyond
Events & Experience Design
- Lead planning and execution of key events including open houses, the Annual Gala, and community events
- Ensure events are high-quality, branded experiences that drive engagement and action e Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and logistics for seamless execution
Internal Collaboration & Integration
- Act as a connector across departments to ensure all programs are represented and aligned in marketing efforts
- Work with program leaders to gather content, insights, and impact stories
- Help create a unified La Casa narrative across all touchpoints
Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain marketing and development databases and support reporting needs
- Track performance of campaigns and events, using insights to improve future efforts
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
- Have a minimum of an associates degree
- Be both creative and highly organized
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have experience in marketing, social media, and event coordination
- Be comfortable collaborating across teams
- Be proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, Wordpress and digital platforms Be bilingual (English/Spanish) — strongly preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
