Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards to maintain brand integrity
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and other culinary tools
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas according to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Manage food production during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders without compromising quality

Skills
- Proven experience as a restaurant cook or in a similar food service role with fine dining or high-volume production experience
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques such as braising, grilling, poaching, and meal assembly
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with dietary department procedures, dietary aide responsibilities, or catering environments is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special dietary needs or menu adjustments
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations
