Role OverviewWe are seeking a self-driven Business Development Representative to join our staffing agency and take ownership of outbound prospecting and appointment setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable picking up the phone, and knows how to use modern sales tools to create opportunities.This is not a passive BDR role. You’ll be expected to:Identify opportunitiesStart conversationsPush through objectionsBook qualified meetings directly on leadership’s calendarIf you’re the type of person who needs scripts, micromanagement, or daily motivation — this is not the role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedInIdentify and target decision-makers (HR, Procurement, Operations, City/County contacts, Hiring Managers)Book qualified sales meetings for staffing services (temp, temp-to-hire, direct hire)Research accounts and tailor outreachMaintain accurate activity and notes in the CRMTest messaging, scripts, and outreach sequencesFollow up aggressively and professionallyCollaborate directly with ownership and recruitersRequired QualificationsProven experience in appointment setting, outbound sales, or BDR/SDR rolesComfortable with high-volume outbound callsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTech-savvy: CRM, LinkedIn, email tools, spreadsheets, dialersSelf-motivated and accountable Ability to handle rejection and keep pushingBonus: Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR services, or B2B servicesWhat Success Looks Like5–10 meaningful conversations per day3–5 qualified meetings booked per weekClean CRM notes and follow-upsContinuous improvement in scripts and conversion ratesDirect contribution to new client acquisition
