Job Description

La Boutique de Bridal & Tuxedos is hiring a Part-Time Bridal Stylist for our West Melbourne boutique. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a polished sense of style, and can help brides and their families feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited during their appointment.

Our boutique offers bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, mothers’ gowns, prom and quinceañera dresses, as well as tuxedo and suit rentals. This position is customer-focused and sales-driven, with an emphasis on creating a personal and memorable shopping experience.

About the Role

As a Bridal Stylist, you will guide brides through their gown appointments, help them choose dresses and accessories, assist with trying on gowns, and support them through the decision-making process. You will also help keep the boutique organized, inviting, and ready for appointments.

This is an in-person, part-time position. Friday and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome brides, families, and guests into the boutique
• Assist brides during one-on-one gown appointments
• Help customers select bridal gowns, accessories, bridesmaids dresses, and formalwear
• Assist brides in and out of gowns during appointments
• Clip and present gowns so customers can see the best fit and shape
• Provide helpful, honest, and professional styling guidance
• Build relationships with customers and support a positive shopping experience
• Follow up with customers before and after appointments
• Help promote tuxedo and suit rentals when appropriate
• Keep fitting rooms, showroom areas, and gown displays neat and organized
• Update customer notes and appointment information as needed
• Work with the alterations team when fittings or questions arise
• Assist with mannequins, window displays, and light merchandising during slower times
• Support occasional boutique photos or social media content when needed

Qualifications

• Retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience required
• Bridal, fashion, boutique, or formalwear experience is a plus
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working closely with customers
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Comfortable with sales conversations and helping customers make decisions
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable learning appointment software or customer management systems
• Good eye for style, presentation, and detail
• Friday and Saturday availability required

Pay

$14–$15 per hour, depending on experience
Commission and bonus opportunities available
