Labossiere Interior Design is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support the daily operations of our luxury residential interior design firm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative and project support responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Experience in interior design, purchasing, or project coordination is a plus.
Responsibilities
Financial & Administrative Support
- Enter and maintain client, vendor, and project information within Design Manager software
- Process accounts receivable and assist with accounts payable
- Monitor and reconcile purchase orders, deposits, and vendor invoices & payments
- Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
- Assist with reporting and project financial tracking
Project & Procurement Support
- Coordinate with the design team regarding purchasing, order status, and project timelines
- Obtain pricing and quotes from vendors, workrooms, artisans, and suppliers
- Track furniture, lighting, fabric, and accessory orders from purchase through installation
- Communicate with vendors, receiving warehouses, and delivery teams
- Schedule deliveries, installations, and project-related appointments
- Assist with sourcing materials and maintaining vendor relationships
General Office Support
- Support designers with client presentations, specification sheets, and project organization
- Assist with maintaining project schedules and deadlines
- Help ensure all project information is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Serve as a professional point of contact for vendors and project partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in office administration, project coordination, or a related field
- Experience with Design Manager or similar software preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the interior design, architecture, construction, or luxury home industry is a plus
