La Boom Kitchen is looking for a reliable, detail oriented, and quality focused Pastry Cook to join our production team in Delray Beach. This role is focused on the preparation and production of our baked goods and dessert items, including focaccia breads, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and other pastry products.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in consistency, presentation, cleanliness, baking techniques, and recipe execution, and who can work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment.

What you’ll do
- Prepare and produce macarons, cookies, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and other assigned dessert items according to company recipes and standards
- Follow portioning, measuring, mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing procedures accurately
- Maintain consistency in product quality, appearance, texture, and presentation
- Complete prep and production tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Label, organize, and store ingredients and finished products properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
- Follow food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Monitor ingredient levels and report low stock items as required
- Complete required stock checks and supplier list reviews as assigned
- Assist with general kitchen support or café kitchen support when assigned by management
What we’re looking for
- Previous pastry, dessert, baking, or kitchen production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency
- Ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food Handler certification preferred, or must be obtained if required by local regulations
Schedule
Shifts are scheduled within operating hours:
Weekdays: typically between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Weekends: typically between 6:00 AM – 01:00 AM
(4–8 hour shifts depending on availability.)
