LBV Showroom, a women’s apparel wholesale sales agency representing several manufacturers southeast territory, is seeking a Regional Account Executive who has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for establishing and fostering long-term customer relationships. The Regional Account Executive will represent women’s apparel and accessories collections within the southeast region. Discover new opportunities and rise to new challenges in a stimulating, fast-paced environment. As a Regional Account Executive, you will establish rapport and build credibility with existing clients through effectively presenting solutions that meet their needs. Your ability to communicate, present and negotiate with prospective and current clients in person and over the phone is essential to your success in this position. Ability and desire to travel the Southeast region is required.
Responsibilities
§ Manage sales territory (300 active accounts) for three to five women’s apparel manufacturers for the southeast region (including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia)
§ Conduct meetings with existing and prospective accounts in order to solicit orders by efficiently facilitating product purchases through extensive product knowledge and customer insight
§ Grow sales for existing accounts through value-driven consultative selling and customer support
§ Nurture partnerships with key accounts through in-store events and partnerships
§ Establish a strong customer base and effectively develop new prospects
§ Drive new business development; identify, qualify and develop prospective clients through cold calling and prospecting
§ Actively utilize CRM database in managing existing customer base and qualifying prospects
§ Effectively work with in-house sales representatives to secure orders and ensure the proper flow of information concerning product delivery dates, style information, and order adjustments
§ Listen to customer concerns, address product-related issues and handle product inquiries
§ Communicate customer requirements, sales, and lead information with operations management
§ Provide and review weekly sales results with management
Qualifications & Requirements
§ 2 years sales experience required (B2B & apparel sales experience preferred but not required)
§ Extensive regional travel required, approximately 50% of the year
§ Self-motivated, energetic, customer focused individual
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or another similar field preferred (but not required)
§ Proven experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) as sales tools
§ Must be able to work within a collaborative team environment
§ Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills
§ Must live in (or be willing to relocate to) the Atlanta, Georgia area
Compensation
We are pleased to offer a competitive base salary (50k-60k/yr) with annual salary raises based on sales performance, commission, medical insurance (after 60 days), two weeks paid vacation and paid holidays. In addition, we offer bonuses based on sales goals and exciting sales competitions. Laptop, iPhone/iPad, company vehicle/insurance, and travel expense account will be provided.
