We are looking for a driven individual to take on the role of Packaging Specialist, supporting our Packaging Manager at our Thornton location. This role is essential to ensure all products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and with care to maintain our quality standards.

Full Job Description:
You will be responsible for packaging tasks such as:
- Folding boxes
- Daily rotation of products
- Packaging fragile desserts
- Packaging pastries and breads
- Labeling and sealing boxes
- Printing and organizing packaging labels
Day to day:
The day starts at 10:00 AM. You will receive instructions from the Packaging Manager and begin by preparing your station and packaging materials.
A key part of the role is building and maintaining a stock of folded boxes to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the day.
Most of the day, you will work with speed racks of frozen pastries. You will:
- Retrieve speed racks from the freezer
- Package products into boxes using bags and bread ties
- Close and tape boxes securely
- Apply the correct labels and stickers
- Return finished products to the freezer while maintaining proper rotation
Our freezers are cold environments. While you will not spend extended periods of time inside, it is important to be comfortable working in and out of cold conditions throughout the day.
Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are essential to ensure all products are packed correctly and ready for distribution.
At the end of the day, you will prepare delivery bags for the following morning. Using our routing software, you will:
- Print invoices
- Prepare orders based on invoice specifications
- Organize and pack delivery bags accordingly
- Place all completed orders in the freezer for the delivery driver
You will never work alone and will always be paired with a teammate to complete daily tasks efficiently.
At the end of each shift, you and your team are responsible for cleaning your station, floors, and common areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
This role follows a fixed schedule. While the schedule is not flexible, special time-off requests can be accommodated when properly organized with the team.
Being open to occasionally assist with deliveries when needed is a strong plus and will be highly valued.
