What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate position at La Bella Vita Salon and Wellness Studio?
Client Relations & Guest Experience
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and ensure a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the spa-like salon brand.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
- Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmations through the salon’s booking system.
- Maintain detailed client records, preferences, and service histories to enhance personalized care.
- Resolve client complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, maintaining La Bella Vita’s high service standards.
2. Administrative & Operational Support
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain and update the salon’s scheduling software and point-of-sale system.
- Manage and reconcile daily sales, deposits, and cash drawers.
- Ensure compliance with salon policies, confidentiality standards, and California labor regulations.
- Coordinate with management regarding staff schedules, booth rental payments, and product inventory.
3. Team Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the main communication hub between stylists, estheticians, lash technicians, and management.
- Support booth renters and service providers with scheduling, client management, and supply needs.
- Assist in onboarding new team members by reviewing policies, safety procedures, and salon expectations.
- Promote collaboration and positive morale among all team members.
4. Marketing & Brand Support
- Manage and update social media posts, stories, and highlights showcasing services and promotions.
- Assist with soft openings, special events, and seasonal promotions to attract clientele.
- Ensure promotional materials (business cards, brochures, signage) reflect the brand’s soft sage and gold aesthetic.
- Track client referrals, reviews, and loyalty program participation.
5. Facility & Environment Management
- Ensure all common areas are clean, organized, and stocked with refreshments, towels, and supplies.
- Oversee inventory of retail products and coordinate reorders with the owner/manager.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards required by California’s Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
6. Professional Conduct
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- Protect all confidential information regarding clients, staff, and business operations.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
