Position Summary:
We’re seeking a dedicated Pastry Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time position focused on preparing French pastries. The ideal candidate will be passionate about traditional French pastry techniques and executing high-quality products consistently in a busy bakery environment.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and produce a range of authentic French pastries and desserts (cakes, tarts, and components like pastry cream and almond cream)
Follow traditional French pastry recipes and presentation standards
Maintain quality and consistency in all products
Ensure kitchen cleanliness & food safety compliance
Support inventory management and ingredient preparation
Collaborate with the team to optimize production flow
Qualifications:
Pastry experience in a professional bakery or kitchen
Ability to produce high-quality French style pastries
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Excellent time management and ability to start early morning shifts
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively
