Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety conscious temporary/on-call driver to provide student transport as needed. The ideal candidate is someone with a flexible schedule who can assist with route coverage, call-offs, additional routes and other transport needs. Candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children.
Drivers may be contacted when coverage is needed and should be available for morning and/or afternoon routes. Hours may vary and are not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Operate transport vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport students to and from school and other activities
- Ensure the safety of all passengers
- Maintain a clean and well maintained vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work well with children
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks and drug screenings.
