Job Description:

ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a seasoned CNC Lathe Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision components critical to space exploration. Create and modify programmers and maintain files in accordance with company policy.

Essential Functions:

• 5 years preferred experience programming and operating CNC lathe machines.
• Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum.
• Oversaw the running of multiple machines.
• Knowledge of precision machining techniques, with a willingness to share knowledge and techniques.
• Experienced use of inspection equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Thread gauge etc.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Conceptual Skill, Process Improvement, Functional and technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination and Measuring Equipment.
• Self-Motivated, willing to grow with the organization. Follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines.
• Thorough understanding and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with Fanuc G-code programming and machine setup.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with handling and cleaning aerospace-grade materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
