What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician position at L2x Talent Solutions?
-Performance verification, calibration of complex Test and Measuring equipment utilizing documented procedures.
-Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component-level repairs on equipment ranging from DC to 50Ghz including Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Analog and Digital Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Power Supplies, and other precision test equipment.
-Interpret schematics, block diagrams, and service manuals to identify and resolve equipment failures.
-Use specialized test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.) for troubleshooting and verification.
-Maintain accurate repair records, documentation, and test results in accordance with company standards.
-Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety compliance standards.
-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering skill development within the team.
-Stay current with new technologies, instruments, and repair methodologies in the test & measurement field.
-Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase repair efficiency and turnaround time.
-Support customer service teams with technical insights regarding repair feasibility and timelines.
Qualifications:
-Associates Degree in Engineering Discipline, military or relevant experience
-2 years of professional working experience in an electronics/lab based setting
-Strong understanding of digital and analog and electronics, RF, and power electronics
-Ability to read and interpret; blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, etc..
-Ability to follow and utilize; work instructions, standard operating procedures, test plans, operating manuals, etc..
-Ability to troubleshoot, test and repair electronic equipment such as; multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power supplies, etc..
-Ability to troubleshoot down to a component level – PCB’s
-Ability to complete soldering, desoldering, and component replacement (including SMD and through-hole)
-Ability to utilize electronic test equipment such as; multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power supplies, etc..
