Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize PLC programs to improve machine efficiency, reduce cycle times, and increase overall uptime
- Design and implement control systems for high-performance automated equipment, including component selection, panel layout, and schematic development
- Program, test, and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure reliable machine operation
- Collaborate with and integrate various systems, including PLCs, servo and stepper motors, HMIs, motion controllers, power supplies, and communication networks
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming within a manufacturing or automation environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
- Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics and panel design
- Familiarity with vision systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
